Who are we?
Jesus Youth is an international Catholic movement that challenges young people to live a meaningful, creative, and fulfilling life in Christ. Recognised by the Holy See and present in over 40 countries, the movement inspires a joyful spirituality among young people while nurturing their faith through prayer and fellowship, and forming them for mission. We are a vibrant community committed to serving the Catholic Church, fostering spiritual growth, and embracing a life of meaning.
Six Pillars
The spirituality of the movement is rooted in a daily living of the six pillars, enabling one to grow in holiness and mission.
Personal Prayer
At the heart of movement is a daily 'quiet time' with the Lord, fostering a deep friendship with Jesus. Diverse series of reflections and contemporary prayer formats help sustain this life of prayer.
Word of God
A regular time for a meditative reading of the Sacred Scripture has always been part of the Jesus Youth way of life. It helps people to shape their lives according to God's will. Daily reflection on the Word strengthens their faith and helps them seek God's guidance in all things.
Sacraments
Jesus Youth embrace full participation in the Sacramental life of the Church. Frequent reception of the Eucharist and Reconciliation strengthens their faith, renewing them in grace and holiness.
Fellowship
Deep spiritual friendships and communal support define Jesus Youth. Through small groups, prayer gatherings, and friendships, they encourage, heal, and strengthen each other in their shared journey of faith.
Evangelization
Jesus Youth joyfully share Christ in everyday life, using their talents to spread His love. Every initiative of the movement is rooted in the Church's mission to bring the Gospel to the world.
Option for the poor
Inspired by Christ's love, Jesus Youth stand with the poor and marginalized. They recognize Christ in the suffering, extending compassion, support, and solidarity to those in need.
